Reclamation refers to Nature reclaiming one of the symbols of the materialistic society (the car) once it has been discarded in the landscape.

Suburban Dreaming Series 2014-15

This series of paintings 'Suburban Dreaming' explores the relationship between people (or metaphors for people) and their suburban environment.
It explores the juxtaposition of human aspirations, goals or ambitions (which may be represented by dreams or fantasies) and the reality of the everyday life experiences of people living in their environment. The consequent surreal quality in these images reflects this relationship.

The Other Person Series 2015

#1 of this Series began with photoshoot with two actors and an antique telephone. The scene portrays a power-play over access to the telephone with the male trying to wrest away the phone handset from the female. The male is unable to draw the attention of the female away from her conversation on the phone. Who is on the phone? Why is the call so important? What does the male suspect? #2 of the Series explores the relationship between the two protagonists from their different environmental contexts.
