 Storm & Tempest Series 2016

This  series of paintings examines the interaction of people with the primordial landscape. The starting point is a landscape that shows the force of nature in sculpting, molding and creating interlocking forms in a group of trees. When people are introduced into the landscape of land and sea, they too are subject to the forces of nature and have to cope in their own way.
This is the process where the impact of nature causes changes in the landscape including peoples’ response to adversity.
